Classes focus on breathwork, postures, meditation and relaxation . This is an excellent class to learn all the foundations of yoga as it incorporates a series of traditional Hatha Yoga asanas (postures) that emphasize strength, flexibility, and alignment. 
Mindfulness is woven throughout the practice to cultivate awareness and presence. Each movement is guided by the breath, promoting a meditative state and fostering a deeper connection to the present moment.
Teachings inspired by the ancient yogic texts and the core principles of yoga are gently introduced at the beginning or integrated as thematic cues throughout the practice, providing students with insights that they can carry beyond the mat.

Sam’s classes are beautifully put together, and she sets a focus or a narrative for them, that somehow always seems to chime and support you with whatever is going on in life. This week is for you if you are looking for 5 nights of a retreat that offers daily yoga, nature and deeper inner work, following a program that also involves some contemplation, walks and time for yourself.

We propose a total immersion in nature, where we can absorb the benefits of breathing and exercising our body consciously.

Sam and Paloma will lead you through diverse yoga practices, including hatha yoga, yin yoga, meditation, sound and yoga nidra.

During your stay there will be space for stillness, time to write down insights, to connect with like-minded people. Time for trips to the most special natural places and trekkings out of the turistic tracks, organized with care and love, to allow us integrate the practice in nature and discover the beauty of this beautiful region of Portugal without having to plan, prepare, think how to reach each spot.
At the end of September the weather is still mild, so we will be able to benefit from being outdoors, observing the sunsets and the stars and feel closer the healing power of nature.

You will return home with tools for starting the autumn with more strength and peace of mind.
